Air Mobile ready to deploy in Texas in advance of Hurricane Rita - New Orleans levee just broke - story unfolding!

Report Submitted by Joe Hurston - Austin, TX - Sept. 23, 2005 - 1:04pm (CST)
Just moments ago, the Levee system in New Orleans failed again! To many this is a nightmare! We need to pray for our Lord's grace to flow there!

Rita is barreling toward the Texas Gulf Coast, likely headed for Port Arthur just east of Houston. She has dropped to a level 3 and we all know how completely unpredictable these Hurricanes can be.

The Air Mobile Team arrived into Austin, TX yesterday (Thursday) afternoon. Went straight to the Walmart on the northside of Austin and awaited Tim Mulville of Living Water International. Tim took 13.5 hours to drive from Houston, a trip that usually takes 3 hours. Houston is evacuating. Tim helped us find an RV park and we had a good nights sleep.

This morning Tim arrived and we've spent the last 4 hours in extensive training and strategizing for how we can deploy to the mulitple "Ground Zeros". Living Water International has drilled over 3000 wells world-wide bring life and hope to millions around the world. Tim is highly skilled and experienced in dealing with water crisis. Our Lord has really put us together.

As I write this report, we are getting the live reports from New Orleans tragedy. Levees are literally failing as I type. The outer bands of Rita are scourging the area, filling up the streets and canals and of course, Lake Ponchetrain. Only our Lord knows how this is going to turn out.

We have already been in touch with the Director of the Shriners Hospital in Shreveport, Gary Green. I explained to Mr. Green how we had donated a Vortex Voyager TM to the Biloxi Regional Hospital to help in their terrible time of need. Mr. Green is extremely interested in the Vortex Voyager TM. His hospital will be a major medical facility for victims of Rita. We are not sure which direction to head.

We have effectively trained a top First Responder in Tim Mulville with Living Water International for the "WEST" side of the Rita Landfall. I have been in touch with Dan Andrews in Baton Rouge. Today Dan is receiving another shipment of Vortex Voyager TM parts, i.e. filters, 0-rings, fuses etc. to keep our Voyagers TM running for a long time. Between the disaster coming to the Texas Coast and the unfolding disaster of New Orleans, our work is cut out for us.

We praise God for the having the ability to go IN ADVANCE of these storms and train and position Vortex Voyagers TM BEFORE THE HURRICANE HITS! In our current position, we will likely get Tropical Storm winds. We will stay just outside of the fierce range of Hurricane Rita. Again, you are so important to us. Your prayer and love and support enable us to GO!! God Bless You. We'll report once we decide which way to go.

With Love:
The Air Mobile Team in Texas
